I was born in Petrer (province of Alicante), Spain, in 1986. I received the BSc in Psychology in 2013 from "Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche (UMH)". I obtained a MECD collaboration grant in order to study in the "Instituto de Neurociencias de Alicante (UMH-CSIC)" where finally I studied and received the MSc in Neuroscience in 2015 at the same Institute, developing my MSc thesis in the Plasticity of brain networks group. My PhD thesis is focused on the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying the lower limb rehabilitation by using neural prosthetics, exoskeletons and brain-machine interfaces.

Research

My scientific interests are neuroscience, neurotechnologies and robotics. Specifically, I am focused on the development of technologies designed for the rehabilitation of movement and walking gait for patients with stroke, and in understanding the neurophysiological mechanisms by which these patients regain motor functions.
