Biosketch

I was born in Castellón de la Plana, Spain, in 1984. I received the Telecommunications Engineering degree from “Universidad de Zaragoza” (Zaragoza, Spain) in 2007, and the M.Sc. in Biomedicine and Telemedicine from “Universidad Politécnica de Madrid” (Madrid, Spain) in 2010. In 2009, I joined the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) as a PhD student. In 2014 I received the PhD degree in Informatics and Systems Engineering from “Universidad de Zaragoza”. Currently I'm in the Neuromodulation Laboratory (Neural Rehabilitation Group) in Cajal Institute at CSIC.

Goals

My current research deals with the development and validation of EEG-based neuromodulation technologies for the rehabilitation of the upper-limb function in patients who have suffered a stroke.

Research

My main research interests include signal processing, data mining, neurophysiological experimentation, electrophysiological measuring and stimulating technologies and rehabilitation engineering for the neurological rehabilitation after stroke and spinal cord injury.
